Development and Alumni Relations

U of A Wesley, a United Methodist college ministry at the University of Arkan­sas, is seeking an experienced, full-time candidate for Development & Alumni Relations. This position will cultivate relationships with alumni, friends, donors, and stakeholders of the Wesley ministry, re-establish an alumni network, develop new donors, plan and manage fundraising campaigns, and work with volunteers. This position will also write for grants and promote Wesley through print and social media outlets, including a monthly newsletter. Ideal candidate is a dedicated Christian with a heart for ministry to college students. A Bachelor’s degree and experience is required. Seasoned development officers are encouraged to apply. Membership and background in the United Methodist Church and campus ministry experience is preferred. Must have strong organizational and communication skills, have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media, and be an effective public speaker. College Ministry Intern

U of A Wesley, a United Methodist college ministry at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR, is seeking a full-time intern for the 2018-2019 academic year. Interns serve in the areas of outreach, discipleship, and missions; relate to students in one-on-one and group contexts; and assist with communication and outreach to ministry supporters. Bachelor’s degree required. This position is a 9.5 month contract from August 1st, 2018 – May 15th, 2019 with compensation of $12,920 plus housing. Insurance provided if needed.
